People want to be certain, and they will do everything they can to feel as certain as they can. The challenge is that people have not been taught how to become certain in the ways that will serve and support them in fulfilling their true destinies and desires.

The easiest way for people to experience certainty is to focus on the past. People tend to think of the past as being more certain that the future. While this appears to make logical sense, this approach will not produce the kinds of results that we actually desire.

Truly successful and powerful leaders are much more certain about the future than they are about the past. Those of us who are living the lives of our dreams and creating the world we desire are absolutely certain that the future is being created based upon what we intend, think, feel, and do right now.

This doesn’t mean that we are concerned with every detail of how we will create the future we desire. We know and trust (have faith) that we are creating our desired future right here and right now by following our intuitions, taking our inspired actions, being who we really are, and experiencing very powerfully the feelings that we anticipate feeling when our intentions are manifested on all levels of reality (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually).

I know that most people do not know how to do this. Yet most people are unconsciously doing something very similar without realizing it. Most people are so focused upon what they fear with such strong feelings of aversion that they are intending a future that will make them even more fearful than they were in the past. Because of the powerful energies that are currently flooding the earth, humanity’s ability to create what it fears is increasing at an incredible rate of speed with even more amazing consequences that we can experience through the media each and every day.

Everything that is perceived as a problem that is happening right now is a direct result of the persistent and powerful focus of the vast majority of human beings on what they are afraid of and what they do not want. That kind of “certainty” will create a future super-charged with fear and fear-inducing circumstances from the most-microscopic levels to the most macroscopic levels of reality.

When we release our fears, we get to experience certainty that the world will be transformed into a place that increases and enhances life instead of decreasing and diminishing it. Those of us who know what we are doing are using the very same energies that accelerating the forces bent upon fear and destruction for the purposes of creating the world we desire. Those who are living out of fear, no matter how powerful they may appear, are powerless when compared to those of us who are consciously creating the world from a foundation of Love.

I have been thinking a lot about holistic success lately (okay, I already I think about it all of the time). In relation to this topic I have been thinking about the relationship between passion (love) and fear (every reaction we create—consciously or unconsciously—that is intended to prevent annihilation).

There is a good reason why more people are not more successful. There is basically an inverse relationship between the manifestations of passion and fear in our lives. To the extent that we allow our lives are ruled by fear, passion is less accessible to us. To the extent that we allow ourselves to be ruled by passion, our fears have less influence.

The reason this matters when it comes to holistic success is that passion moves us into a desired future quickly and effortlessly. Fear keeps us tied to the past and anxious abou the future because the future is unknown and uncertain. People ruled by fear interpret this to mean that without sufficient protections in place, the future could mean destruction. Truly successful people live according to their passions and act boldly to create the future. They trust that it they can make the future better through their efforts. They live more by faith than fear.

Let’s imagine that every single person’s spiritual center is like an indestructible light bulb that gives off a tremendous amount of light. It’s would actually blind us if we stared at it. This light bulb has perceived many threats to its existence over the years. Some have included moths being drawn to its light and smashing into it, people throwing covers over it or trying to unscrew it from its power supply (unsuccessfully!) because it was too bright, inclement weather, stones being thrown at it, etc.

To protect itself, the light created defenses to help it survive. It forgot that it was indestructible. It forgot from whence it came. It forgot the power that it was connected to. And so it believed the lie that it could die.

Its brightness did not decrease. It could not. That was its nature. Yet its surface accumulated layer upon layer of stuff intended to create kind of shell or wall of protection around it.

This layered barrier was heavy and dark. It was like mud or layers of paint were allowed to accumulate over the surface of the bright light, causing lessen its radiance.

To the extent that the light was covered, passion was buried and fear ruled that life.

I see my purpose in life as helping people to recognize this fundamental challenge. Part of my purpose is to help people learn how to remove the layers of fear so that their passions can be revealed and better expressed. This will lead to more and more people being ruled by love instead of fear. And when that happens, people’s lives and life on earth will be changed in ways that we cannot even imagine right now.

I feel like now is a good time to share some of my more global thoughts with you, especially given the current level of insanity on the planet.

I’ve been on a media blackout for quite some time – so long in fact that I don’t remember when I started it. But even in my attempt to limit my exposure to such influences, I have been confronted daily with the human race’s incredible capacity for fear. (And yes, despite my media blackout, people have been happy to share with me details about the current crisis in the Gulf of Mexico). Beyond that, I’m generally sensing a lot of impatience, lack of acceptance, fear, anger, and frustration, swirling around the globe. Not that this is any different than this time last year. The other feeling that I have is that it is intensifying. You can let me know if you agree or not. I love feedback!

The current global dramas that are unfolding are nothing more than a large scale version of the inner dramas of so many people on the planet at this time. Human beings are creating global dramas that are in perfect harmony with how most humans currently think, feel, intend, and act. These new creations of ours are here to help us see what we are terrified to look at, those parts of ourselves that we have buried under layers of rationalizations, fears, negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and other patterns of energetic resistance. It is because we are absolutely terrified to explore these repressed and nearly unconscious aspects of our false selves that we have manifested our current circumstances.

We are so terrified to confront our shadow selves that we create things like pandemics, oil spills, wars, genocide, sexual slavery, financial crises, devastating earthquakes, and so many other dramatic things.

Over the next few years, more and more of these kinds of troubling scenarios will play out as humanity continues its journey toward its true nature and the true nature of the Divine Source. These circumstances will increase in intensity and frequency because most people at this time will not let go of what they need to release without these kinds of terrifying large scale dramas playing out. Thankfully, the need to repeat this pattern will eventually burn itself out.

When enough of us have awakened from the private and collective nightmares that are currently sweeping around the planet, we won’t need these dramas any more. We will see what is. And we will embrace all of it and in that embracing everything will be transformed.

Be here now. There is power in the present moment. In the present there is no resistance. There is no fear. There is no anxiety. There is no guilt or shame. Now is perfect as it is. It is complete because it is the only real moment. How do I know this despite all of the apparent evidence to the contrary?

Over 15 years ago, I had a moment. It was not an ordinary moment (at least not yet). It was what could be termed a mystical experience, a spontaneous cosmic moment, a space-time mind-blowing moment, a profound experience of the broader possibilities of consciousness. Whatever it was, it came at the perfect time and in the perfect place to show me that what I thought was real was not. The Real is awe-inspiring in ways that the human imagination cannot approach. I know that my experience was beyond the confines of the power of my imagination to create. I could have lived a million years in workaday consciousness and never come close to imagining what I actually experienced in terms of a sense of union with the entire cosmos and the reality of the Eternal Now as a multidimensional reality. There are no words – try as I might – to convey the wonders that I experienced.

That experience put me on a quest that led me to many more wonderful and amazing discoveries. Again, things I never thought I would know or experience. When you have no idea that something even exists, how can you have any expectation that you will ever experience it?

But the main point I want to communicate right now is that the cosmos is always now. When we struggle against the present moment with our fears, resistance, doubts and rationalizations we are not in the flow of the moment. We are in conflict with the entire cosmos and the Creative Source of All Goodness. Right now everything is effortless. Right now, everything is changing. Right now everything is alive and vibrant and full of infinite possibilities. Now is the fulcrum for shifting everything for the benefit of all life everywhere.

Every good thing is possible, right now. There is no need to wait. Every good thing can be experienced right now. The universe and the Creative Source await our clear, singular, and uncompromised intentions to realize greater possibilities than we have thus far allowed.

The apparent limitations, challenges, problems, barriers, and structures that seem so permanent and solid only exist because people give their energies to their sustenance. When enough of us realize that every ridiculous thing humanity has created is not lasting or permanent but is easily and effortlessly changeable, these things will wither away or be transformed right before our eyes.

People are saying it will take so long for this or that good thing to come to pass. As our certainty is, so shall our experience be. Read that one again. Are you sure that what you think you know for sure is actually true? Are you willing to bet your life on what you think you know?

Let’s clear out all of the falsehoods we have accepted as truths. As we focus more and more with greater clarity upon all of the good possibilities that await our desire and trust to fully realize them, we become certain and those possibilities appear, not in decades or years, but in the present moment of our attention.

There is a huge shift in human consciousness on the horizon. In truth it has already begun. The time is coming when what I write will actually make sense because what I’ve just described will have come to pass in ways that will be impossible to deny. This shift may be experienced right here and right now for those of us who are willing to release our fears and live from our deepest passions and highest aspirations. There really is no time other than the present. Let’s make the most of it!
